Dr. Mickel is a Vancouver native. After graduating from Columbia River High School he attended Eastern Washington University. He graduated from EWU with a bachelors in Human Biology in 1995. Dr. Mickel received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in 2000. He has been treating patients at Mickel Chiropractic and Massage since 2001. Within a short time in his private practice Dr. Mickel became aware that while his education gave him a firm background in health, he did not learn the skills necessary to get the results he wanted for his patients. This lead Dr. Mickel on a 20 year journey that includes learning and mastering over 20 techniques from physical medicine, physical therapy, to nutrition to help people suffering with long standing health issues that conventional medicine had few answers for. Dr. Mickel is constantly learning new techniques and adding protocols to improve his patients outcomes. If there is something that works better it will be implemented. If the is a way to help more people he will do it. This is exactly how Integrated Pain Solutions came into existence. Dr. Mickel learned the potential life changing benefits of teaming up with our Nurse Practitioner, Linina Zocchi, ARNP and knew it needed to be available to as many people as possible.
